The Great Wave, 1831
Katsushika Hokusai, 1760-1849.
Sauvignon Blanc from Aconcagua, Chile.
Delicious, zesty and wonderfully refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from Chile's pioneering coastal region.
Katsushika Hokusai created The Great Wave in around 1829 and continued printing an entire series, known as "36 views of Mount Fuji" until 1833. The images were very popular in Japan at the time, but it's only more recently that the image has become well known in the West. The picture symbolises the immense power of nature over mankind - in the same way that climate and good fortune ultimately determine the quality of a wine.

Bag in Box - 2.25ltr
Following the success of the glass bottle format of The Great Wave, we’ve introduced a boxed-wine format. This great option means that you can enjoy the occasional glass of wine over many weeks without worrying about the wine spoiling. We’ve had some great press from the Times (10th November 2022) awarding the wine with 5 stars!
